Got who?
So, you may be wondering, "How can I never be thirsty again? That's impossible!" Well, when Jesus said "But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again" in John 14:4, He wasn't talking about physical water. He was talking about "living water", or salvation. Now, you may have heard that word before. According to the Webster Dictionary, it means "Deliverance from sin and it's consequences." Now that is a very intriguing statement. Why do we need to be delivered from sin? According to Romans 3:23, "All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God." That's pretty bad, if we have fallen short of God's standards. Let's take a test. It's only three questions, so it shouldn't be that bad. If you're a good person by God's standards, you should pass with flying colors. So here's the first question: Have you ever lied? If so, what does that make you? If you answered "A Liar", then you have successfully answered the first question. The second one is, Have you ever stolen something? Even if it was something small, it still makes you a thief. Now for the last question. Have you ever hated someone? Maybe it was a bully in middle school, or a co-worker that never got their work done on time. If you have, the Bible says that "Whoever hates his brother is a murderer!" That doesn't mean that you have physically killed someone, but it does give you the same accountability as that. So if you have done those three things, that makes you a lying thieving murderer! So are you a good person? God says that "There is none righteous, no not one!" That being said, you are a sinner, and by God's standards, you are condemned to hell forever! But a loving God would not do that to someone! He gave us a choice, whether to accept Him and His free gift of salvation or not. Are you ready to make that choice? Head over to the "Are You Ready?" page to find out more!
